Slipmatt's real name is Matthew and he's become the leading UK happy hardcore DK in the UK. Playing since 1989 he still manages to get the crowd going today. He used to play hardcore and breakbeat or even jungle but he's now moved onto out scene.

Since his appearance at Raindance he now appears on almost every flyer you can get and is a regular on almost all UD releases. His latest being United Dance Anthems completely mixed by Matt himself.

He has moved on a lot from when he used to play in SL2. Now living in London he often plays around that area. Known to remix a lot of records with other with DJ's Sy 'n' Seduction, the most recent the highly acclaimed effect remixes, he's now opening up his own label called Universal Records.

Its first release being the well-known On Top by A Sense Of Summer. Slipmatt along with Vibes, Dougal and other DJ's stay away from drugs as they have all seen mates go down because of them. Slipmatt's main aim is to play and remix records until he can do no more!
