WHO'S YOUR DADDY FOURTEEN

Justin, JC, Lance, and Chris stopped just inside the door to Justin and JC's house when they heard a noise coming from what sounded like the kitchen.

"Somebody's in the house." JC whispered, grasping the back of Justin's t-shirt in his hand.

Justin frowned and sniffed the air. "Mmm, something smells... mama." He shouted after dropping his bags and running toward the kitchen.

"Just a wild guess but I'd say that Lynn is here." Chris said dryly and headed in the direction his friend had disappeared.

JC's face paled as the smell of garlic wafted out the open kitchen door toward them. "Oh god, I thought I was starting to get past this shit." He gasped as his hand covered his mouth and he ran for the bathroom.

Lance looked sympathetically in the direction JC had run and then toward the kitchen. He contemplated going after JC but then figured it would be better to just get Justin or they'd have two vomiting people on their hands. Lance loved JC and he was one of his best friends but there was no way he could be in the room with him while he was getting sick without getting sick himself. He headed toward the kitchen and the happy chatter.

Lance pushed the kitchen door open and laughed when he saw Chris trying to distract Lynn while Justin snuck toward the cookie jar on the counter.

"Justin Randall, you touch those cookies and you'll go to bed without dinner." Lynn warned without even looking over her shoulder at her son.

Justin groaned. "Jesus how do you do that?" He asked, moving to sit at the table since it was obvious he wasn't going to get any cookies.

"Ha, she so busted you man." Chris cackled and did the chicken dance around the table.

Lance rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's silly dancing. "God would somebody please remind me again why I'm still with him?"

"Because I'm sexy and nobody can resist the Kirkpatrick sex appeal." Chris said, dancing up to pinch Lance's ass and kiss his cheek before dancing off again.

Lynn chuckled as she turned back to stir the pot of spaghetti sauce bubbling on the stove.

"Where's Jayce?" Justin asked when he realized that JC wasn't following Lance into the kitchen.

"Oh shit I almost forgot. He got a whiff of the garlic turned green and ran for the bathroom." Lance said, basically speaking the rest of the sentence to Justin's back as he ran from the kitchen.

Lynn dropped the spoon she'd been stirring the sauce with onto the counter. "Oh no, I didn't even think about the garlic. The poor baby. How could I have been so stupid? I'd better go make sure he's ok." She said heading toward the door.

"Umm, I'm sure Jayce is fine and you really couldn't know the garlic was going to make him sick." Lance assured her.

"Oh I'm sure JC is fine too but I don't want Justin freaking out on him." Lynn said before walking into the hallway.

"JC baby, are you ok?" Justin asked, kneeling down beside JC and rubbing his back.

JC turned toward Justin and gave him a small smile. "You know we really need to stop meeting here. It's just so unromantic." He quipped.

Justin laughed and then bent to place a gentle kiss on JC's temple.

JC shrugged Justin off of him. "God Just, don't kiss me when I'm hanging over a toilet. That's just gross." He laughed lightly and sat up a little bit straighter.

"Well then get off the floor and away from the toilet so I can kiss you." Justin said, wiggling his eyebrows lasciviously.

JC giggled quietly as he rose slowly to his feet. "You're a freak, Justin. You're the only person I know that thinks about making out when somebody is hanging over a toilet after just throwing up. No wonder the girls are all so crazy about you." He teased.

Justin laughed and thrust JC's toothbrush into his hand. "Just shut up and brush your teeth funnyman."

"Will you kiss me if I do?" JC asked, smiling sweetly as he moved over toward the sink.

"Just try to stop me." Justin whispered wrapping his arms around JC from behind and lacing his fingers over his protruding stomach he pressed his lips lightly to the side of JC's neck.

"Ahem, am I interrupting?" Lynn asked standing just inside the bathroom door that Justin had forgotten to close behind him.

Justin blanched and jumped away from JC. JC nearly choked on his toothbrush.

"Uh Mama, what's up?" Justin queried, hoping but knowing it wasn't really possible that she hadn't seen anything.

Lynn ignored Justin's question and turned a concerned eye on JC. "JC honey, are you feeling better? I'm really sorry about the garlic. It totally slipped my mind that Bobbee told me you'd been having morning sickness quite often."

"It wasn't your fault, Lynn. You had no way of knowing what would make me sick and what wouldn't. And yes I am feeling better, thank you." JC said, absently rubbing his stomach in a nervous manner that he'd picked up recently.

"Well I know what a bitch morning sickness is so I can sympathize. I trust this boy of mine is taking good care of you?" Lynn inquired, arching an eyebrow when JC blushed.

JC looked at the floor and traced the pattern in the tiling with his foot. "Yes he is. Justin's been wonderful."

"Well at least he knows how to do something right then. He obviously can't tell his mama when she's going to be a grandmother." Lynn spoke sharply, her eyes not leaving Justin's face as he blanched and looked at the wall behind her.

JC took a step back on wobbly legs and dropped onto the closed toilet. Justin quickly moved to his side.

"Don't you have something to say, Justin?" Lynn asked watching Justin caress the back of JC's neck and bend over to whisper soothingly to him.

"What do you want me to say, mama?" Justin asked, looking up at his mother while still stroking JC's neck.

Lynn sighed and gave Justin a more sad than disappointed look. "Well for starters it would've been nice if you had just called me and told me that JC was going to have a baby. Maybe after that had registered you could've told me that it was your baby. Then again maybe it would've been better to tell me first that you like boys because that one sure hit me from left field."

"It seems you already know everything so what would you like me to say now?" Justin asked, afraid that his mother was about to turn on him the way that JC's had.

Justin felt his chest tighten when his mother looked up at him with tear filled eyes.

"I'd really like to know why you felt you couldn't come to me with something this important in your life. I don't care if you're bisexual, gay, or straight you're still my son and I love you. I hate it that we've drifted apart so much that you thought you couldn't talk to me." Lynn said intently watching JC reach up and pull Justin's hand off his neck and drop a kiss into his palm.

Justin squeezed JC's hand and smiled at him before looking back at his mother. "Mama, I never meant to hurt you. I just never thought of myself as anything but straight before the night with JC. I mean I've noticed guys and even thought some were good looking before but I've never really seen any that I just couldn't resist sleeping with. So I figured that pretty much meant I was straight. I also know how much you love Britney and that it would kill you when you found out that I screwed up our relationship and that now we won't be getting married and raising the family you wanted me to have. I was scared and I'm sorry I hurt you." He whispered the last bit as his mother enfolded him in her arms.

"Justin darling I love you more than anything and I'd never expect you to settle for something or someone just because you think it's what I want. And while we're on that subject, where in the hell did you get the hair brained idea that I love Britney? I'd rather have a root canal with no painkiller than to spend fifteen minutes in a conversation with that brainless twit." Lynn laughed when Justin pulled away from her with an incredulous look plastered on his face.

"But I thought you liked her. You were always encouraging me to go visit her and have her to come visit and shit." Justin asked, confusion evident in his voice and eyes.

Lynn chuckled and ruffled Justin's hair. "Baby boy, I thought she was what you wanted so I was trying to be supportive. If I'd known that you didn't really love her she'd be the last person I'd ever have as a guest in my house."

"Oh god, I stayed with her all of this time and I really didn't have to. I could've been with J... somebody else all of this time but instead I wasted it with her." Justin ranted and began pacing in the small bathroom.

Lynn stopped her son with a hand on his shoulder. "Justin if you want to be with JC then be with him now. Don't dwell on the could've, would've, and the should've because that shit will get you know where fast. Live for now and your future not the past."

"You're really ok with me and JC? I mean with like the baby and if we were to get together?" Justin asked, still not quite believing how well his mother had taken everything.

"Honey I'm perfectly fine with it. I can't think of anybody that I'd rather have as the mother of my grandchild and my daughter in law than JC." Lynn teased, laughing at the affronted look JC shot her way.

JC stood to his full height and faced Lynn. "Lynn, I might've slept with your son and even gotten pregnant by him but I will never be your daughter in law. I can't be a woman no matter how much you want me too." He said sadly and turned away.

"Oh JC, baby. I was teasing. You're a wonderful man and I'd never expect nor want you to be something you aren't. You're perfect the way that you are." Lynn said, pulling JC into her arms.

JC sniffled and kissed Lynn's cheek as he pulled himself from her embrace. "I'm sorry. I should've known you didn't mean it. These damn hormones are gonna kill me."

"Speaking of hormones, now that everything is out in the open I wanna hear all about the baby." Lynn said, grinning when Justin's eyes lit up at the mention of the baby.

"Chris and Lance know everything so why don't we take this to the kitchen. I'm tired of constantly having these meetings in the bathroom." Justin said, reaching over and entwining JC's fingers with his own and heading for the door.

Lynn looked confused at the reference to meetings in the bathroom but smiled when JC leaned over and kissed Justin's cheek before following him out of the bathroom. She followed them out of the bathroom after hanging up the towel that JC had used and turning out the light.

"Justin, everybody's in the kitchen." JC said, trying to pull Justin toward the kitchen when he turned toward the living room.

Justin grinned at JC and continued pulling him toward the living room. "I know, which is exactly why we're going in here."

"But wha... " was all JC was able to say before Justin backed him against the wall and crushed their lips together.

"You're so beautiful." Justin whispered as his lips traced the arch of JC's neck.

JC gently pulled Justin's face back up to meet his. He leaned forward and nipped at Justin's bottom lip and then gently laved the soft flesh with his tongue. Justin moaned as his lips parted and JC's tongue slid over his. His knees went weak as JC's tongue flicked the roof of his mouth and his hands cupped Justin's ass. Justin's left hand rested in the small of JC's back pressing him closer while the right hand sifted through the hair at the nape of his neck.

As quickly as Justin had pulled JC into the kiss he pushed him away. A look of wonder covered his face.

"What's wrong, Justin?" JC whispered not quite able to speak yet.

Justin stepped close to JC once again and pressed his hand lightly to JC's stomach. "When we were kissing and I pulled you closer, she kicked me. That was so fucking awesome Jayce. All of this time she's kicked for you and not once for me. She fucking kicked me." Justin nearly shouted in his excitement.

JC ran his fingers lightly through Justin's hair when he bent to kiss JC's stomach. "You're so sweet, Justin."

Justin smiled at JC and then kissed his lips gently before pulling away and yelling. "Mama, come here. You've gotta feel this."
