Quote of the day: "I guess it's about soldiers or something." - the woman behind me in line for The Civil War

So I went back to New York City last week. :-) Stacy was kind enough to put me up for a few days, and we took the city by storm. A page dedicated to the trip is coming, so I'll just list the highlights here. :-) First of all, I *finally* got to meet Melanie, and we had a blast together!!! We even worked in a Christian Bale movie (go see A Midsummer Night's Dream - it's fantastic!) and some CD shopping! I also finally got to meet Douglas Sills, my one big disappointment from our trip in February. See pictures here and here. I saw four shows: Miss Saigon (Lea Salonga is a goddess), Ragtime, The Civil War and The Scarlet Pimpernel (twice). I saw Julie Andrews. I saw Dimitri from All My Children. I saw Bernadette Peters. I spent four hours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and only saw a quarter of it. I spent way too much money. And I had so much fun. I'm just sorry it's over.

Anyway, I don't have much more time right now, and nothing else exciting has happened. :-) More about the NYC trip coming soon. Right now I'm going to go listen to Brent sing "It's Hard to Speak my Heart" and swoon.
