We’re only saying you’re doing fine Oklahoma,
Oklahoma, OK!

“Oklahoma!” was the first collaboration between what became arguably the most successful and popular American team in musical theatre, Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II. Having no deep meaning, but centering around two love triangles in late 19th century Oklahoma, the show appealed to post-WWII audiences just looking for a good time. Songs like “Oh What a Beautiful Morning,” “People Will Say We’re in Love” and the title song remain popular and timeless.
