Tommy

Full Name: Tommy McCoy. *he shoves a large, floppy hand in your face and beams* Or... *he raises his eyebrows, pretends to look serious, and adopts a refined accent for the occasion* Thomas McCoy, if you prefer. *he breaks out into a grin, trying not to laugh at his own antics*
Age: *rocks a little in his chair* I'm eighteen. *he nods his dark-haired head* *the saying is that he doesn't act a day over fifteen*
Appearance: *he shrugs and taps his chin in thought* 'Bout 5'8", iffn I do say so meself. *bright grin* Brown eyes, brown hair. *he shrugs again, putting his hands in his pockets* *Tommy has dark brown hair, straight and a little on the long side. It flops into his forehead on frequent occasion and always looks slightly disheveled no matter how much he preens it in the morning. He is of a thin build but is, nonetheless, muscular. Tommy's eyes are large and brown, set deep in his angular face*
Background: Born and raised in Harlem. *grins* Hope ta die heah too--well, not anytime soon... *he frowns* Uh... *laughs* You get da idea. *beams again* Know dis place like da back 'a my hand. *nods* You got any question, ya kin ask me. *he's been a member of East Harlem a year after it's founding* Udda dan dat... *he thinks, forhead wrinkling* Don't know me parents. Spent a lotta time in and outta da orphanage b'fore endin' up heah. *Tommy has a tendency to simply gloss over the details of his life, but that's not to say they've all been pleasant, because they have not. However, through it all he has somehow managed to retain an element of innocence in his personality; for him it is a coping mechanism*
Relationships: *shrugs* Aw, nah. Not me. *grins* Not ta say I don't like girls 'er sumpthin'... *he likes 'em plenty and can be quite charming in his own silly sort of way* but I ain't seein' anyone now. *his last long-term relationship was with Venus Armstrong from the Bronx* As fer me pals... *toothy grin* I can't say dere ain't someone I don't get 'long with. *he is particularly close to many of the long-time members of Harlem, both boys and girls*
Other notes: *Tommy has a tendency to speak at a volume slightly louder than necessary, though he often does this completely unaware. It goes in keeping with his ever-cheerful (even when he doesn't mean it) happy-go-lucky personality. Tommy is also a very large fan of ice cream and can often be found hanging out with his friend, Blue Skies Costello, at Sprecklers' Pharmacy and Sanitary Dispensary*
