5/16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5/22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5/29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5/43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 5/44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 5/45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 5/46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 5/47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 5/48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 6/5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6/6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 6/7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 6/8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 6/9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 6/10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 6/11 Give us this day our daily bread. 6/12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 6/13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 6/14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 6/15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. MATTHEW 7/1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 7/2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 7/3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Matthew 7/7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 7/8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. MATTHEW 7/13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7/14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. MATTHEW 7/15, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 7/16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 7/17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 7/18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 7/19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 7/20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. MATTHEW 16/24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 16/25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 16/26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? MATTHEW 20/25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 20/26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 20/27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 20/28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. MATTHEW 22/36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 22/37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 22/38 This is the first and great commandment. 22/39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself LUKE 6/27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you. 6/28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 6/29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. 6/30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 6/31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 6/32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. JOHN 13/34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 13/35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. JOHN 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 14/12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 14/13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14/14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 14/15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 15/4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 15/5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 15/6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 15/7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 15/8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 15/9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. JOHN 15/10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 15/11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 15/12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 15/13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 15/14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15/15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 15/16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 15/17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
