Currently Harry and Draco were laid facing each other on their sides, heads propped up on one arm. They'd talked about anything and everything, occasionally stopping to have a quick make out session and they had managed to uphold all conversations despite the fact they caressed each other through out.
"So where do you lie," Draco asked, "I mean I'm Bi but what are you?"
Harry pondered for a moment before answering truthfully.
"I don't think I'm anything, I just like who I like, you know. I mean I'm pretty sure that if you were a girl I'd have still liked you....Does that make sense?" Harry asked whilst letting his fingertips stroke Draco's well defined cheekbones.
This was such a strange day. First he'd woken up all flirty with Draco, then they had that heart wrenching conversation and now they were acting like they'd being doing this for months. And what the hell was Ron and
Hermione going to say?
Well, what will come will come, and he'll face it when it does, for now he'll just enjoy being with Draco.
The same thoughts were filtering through the Slytherin's mind. What_was_he going to tell Crabbe, Goyle, and ( oh gods ) what was he going to tell Pansy? Oh well, did it really matter at the moment? Nothing mattered as long as Draco could lay and look at Harry like he was doing now.
But the young man knew that something would have to be arranged. He and Harry were in their seventh year, and both Head Boys, a lot of people had their eyes on them. And despite what Harry had said, Draco was still bent on protecting him, and if Crabbe, Goyle, and especially Pansy found out then one of them ( most likely the Pug Pansy ) was likely to tell his father.
What a mess that would be!
"Harry, tomorrow is Monday, how are we supposed to act to each other around everybody else. I know you hate hearing it, but I still am trying to protect you, and if my father finds out that will be hard. Not to mention your friends may strongly dislike you once they find out that you like me."
Harry rolled onto his back with a sigh. Not so much as a sign of annoyance towards Draco, more of a means to think.
"I don't know. I guess if you really want to I can keep up a front, albeit a bit more difficultlly now seeing as all I want to do is kiss you," At which point he turned his head towards Draco with a smirk, successfully drawing a smile from the pale haired man," But I might tell Hermione and Ron...that's if you don't mind?"
Draco seemed to frown but Harry couldn't tell what he was thinking.
"I mean, sure, Ron's gonna act all upity but when he knows something is generally making me happy, something he's wanted me to be in a long time, then he'll listen to my reason, might even listen to yours. Hermione is a little more understanding, she likes to hear the meaning behind something first before she settles for a conclusion. I believe she''d be generally happy.....but you have to give them time."
Then Harry looked lost almost as he uttered, "What do you want me to do? I mean I can handle what your dad throws at me, but if it indangers you then I'll try my best to put on an act."
Sighing, Draco moved closer to Harry and wrapped his arms around him, resting his head in the other man's shoulder.
"Harry, it seems like we are both trying to protect each other. Maybe it would be best if we kept of the front. It will be hard, but while we are here we can be ourselves."
The Slytherin placed a soft, warm kiss on the Gryffindor's neck, "You can tell your friends if you want, as long as they don't let it slip."
Harry looked down at Draco then sighed.
"Yeah your right. So, keeping up the front, I can do that....("I think")."
"As for Ron and 'Mione, they won't tell if i asked," He chuckled," I, uh, think I scared then last year when I shouted so they try not to upset me so much anymore."
Then he rolled over and straddled on Draco's thighs.
"But enough doom and gloom." And here he lent down and kissed Draco passionately, running his tongue along Draco's lips till he was granted access. Then he pulled back.
"You know you never answered my question."
Draco looked politley confused. "Which question?"
"Well...Am I your flame? You know, your passion?"
The Slytherin laughed, a little harshly because one hot looking young man was atop him at the moment. Draco, brought his hands up to clasp the front of Harry's shirt, pulling the Gryffindor down into a searing, but gentle
kiss.
Emitting a soft groan Draco slid one hand down Harry's chest.
"Answer your question?"
Harry pretended to think but couldn't wipe the smirk off his face.
"Hmmmm, sort of but I think we may have to keep at it for a while, you know, just to be sure."
"Oh yes of course, have to be certain." Draco seriourously agreed.
"Definately." And with that said and done Harry lent forward, and with one hand behind Draco's head and the other wrapped around his waist, he crashed them together and kissed Draco feverishly, emitting soft moans and sighs in unison to Draco.
Goddess, I've never felt like this....like a normal boy in the arms of his normal lover. Harry smiled inot the kiss.
Draco wrapped his arms around Harry's waist, and pulled him as close as he deepened the kiss. The Slytherin felt his body was aflame as the Gryffindor slipped his warm tongue into his mouth, exploring everwhere.
The blonde felt a warning go off inside, and new that if he didin't stop now that he wouldn't be able to later. He broke this kiss and tenderly trailed a finger down Harry's face.
"I've got to stop, love."
Harry leant his face into Draco's touch. It surprised him to no end how quickly Draco would go from 'this is fun' to 'gotta stop'.
"Why? Don't you like this?"
And he placed his lips above Draco's pulse in his neck and kissed it, to a nice welp formed.
My terriortory.
He then nuzzled his face into the juncture where Draco's neck met his shoulders and sat back. Draco was beautiful, his eyes shut and his hands resting on Harry's thighs. He would stretch his legs slightly up and down, whether fighting arousal Harry wasn't sure, but he knew where Draco was coming from.
They's only got togther really this morning, there was no need to rush into anything.
Yeah, easy to say, harder to do, nobody else has a greek god for a boyfriend.
Draco sighed softly, "No, I do like this." He had to stop here for he knew that he was getting a flushed look..and he could_feel_it! "But we _have_ only just realized that we care for each other, and I don't want to ruin that by doing something, eh, wreckless."
The Slytherin had been brought up not to show emotion, and it was taking all of that to keep Draco from flipping Harry down on the bed, and ravishing him. The Head Boy turned his head to the side and gaped at the Wizard's Clock, he was going to be late for Quidditch practice if he didn't get his butt out of bed!
Ok, Draco, let's go!
He started to move, but Harry snuggled closer. Ok, easier said than done.
Draco gently ran his fingers through the Gryffindor's hair before placing a soft kiss on his forehead, "Harry, I really would love to stay, but I'm going to be late for practice."
Having said it Draco rolled out of bed, and passed through the bathroom, to his bedroom where he started to pull on clean clothes.
Harry pouted which caused the Slytherin to give a little laugh as he walked out the door with a passing 'blown kiss'.
When Draco had left Harry sort of just sat there before decieding that finding Hermione would be a good idea.
Picking up his cloak, Harry swung it onto his shoulders and began fast walking towards Gryffindor tower. He uttered the password and found Hermione sitting in the corner, nose buried in book.
He tiptoed around so he was behind her chair, his fuzzy haired friend not noticing a thing, and when he came up behind her he raised his hands ready to tickle her shoulders and opened his mouth to give a shout.
"Do it, and I swear there will be no future little Potters."
Harry just gave a loud laugh reminisant to Sirius's bark like one and came round to sit on the coffee table in front of Hermione.
She looked up with a twinkle in her eye and embraced her friend.
"Hello stranger, what brings you down here?"
"Missed my little sis didn't I." Hermione chuckled and moved so that she was curled up on the floor between Harry's legs, elbow resting on one knee and toying with Harry's hand with her other hand.
The relationship between the two was different from the one between Ron and Hermione. It wasn't awkward, it was a purley platonic friendship, and plus Hermione had an inkling Harry had, and would never, like her in THAT way.
"'Mione, you love me no matter what don't you?" Harry asked suddenly.
Something was afoot, and so she turned her head up to give him her fullest attention.
"No matter what." She stated firmly.
"What if I say...wasn't, you know, into girls?"
"I'd say, I saw that coming a mile away."
Harry looked stunned for a minute then a broad grin appeared on his face. He hugged her tightly, and Hermione started laughing.
"Love you too Harry, but oxygen is a vital source right now."
"Oh sorry." He couldn't stop smiling. His cheeks were starting to hurt.
"Honestly you don't care?"
"Not at all, makes it more fun for me, and plus, hello, Hagrid's dad married a giant. A little same sex loving isn't going to shock me anymore." She smiled sincerily.
Finally, things are looking up. Harry thought happily.
