Great News!
We've finally (in only our second month of existence) put together our very first speakers-event. Thursday, October 30 at 8pm in Campus Center 313, we will talk with Tom Hutt, candidate for Philadelphia's City Council (8th District). The event is co-sponsored by STAND and Amnesty International. All are welcome. To find out more about Tom and his campaign, visit www.tomhutt.org.
Hope to see you there!

Meeting coming this week!
Budgeting is pretty much over with, so we'll be talking pretty seriously about our objectives and strategies for the entire semester.

Also, the student rep on the school's Committee on Environmental Responsibility will be appointed this week, so lets get a Green in there!

Some good news:
The Ammendment to the Alcohol Policy written by Greens
Karl Blumenthal and Nora Spriggs (class of 2006),
which focuses on the way students treat the grounds, was introduced and approved with 73% of the vote at Fall Plenary.

So the first meeting of the group was pretty good.
Some ideas were fleshed out and we're looking forward to a great year.
Budgeting for HC clubs takes place all next week,
so we will know more about our funding situation soon.
At the next meeting we will be discussing and hopefully approving
the by-laws for the year,
so we can move on and elect officers.
Stick close for more info.

Hi Everyone. Thanks for stopping by.
The site is obviously still in a state of contstruction,
so please be patient while I work out all the kinks.
The Party will be meeting early on in the semester to approve the bylaws,
elect officers for the Fall 2003 term and discuss general goals and strategies,
so stay tuned!
