Covering up Bush’s lack of character

What the devil is going on with the mainstream media always putting Bush’s cocaine use as about a quarter of a century ago (some use 24 years; some use 25 years)? Really an easy question to answer since, quite clearly, a cover-up for Bush, Jr.’s use of cocaine is going on. And the media is helping not only with this but other serious faults.

Bush first confessed that he used drugs until seven years ago. Informed sources have stated there are at least three witnesses that he used cocaine at parties during his tenure as governor of Texas. Be that as it may, his confession of “up until seven years ago” lasted for what, a week???

Then, it became that he last used the drug last 24 years ago, as a (ha, ha) “youth” of 28. He just made a youthful mistake. Since this time frame was introduced, media supporters have focused on it rather than the fact he stated himself he used drugs until seven years ago. Of course, it is highly probable he and his media supporters lied about his coke snorting in both cases, anyway.

But, you see, I don’t care if he did commit a felony with his use of cocaine (and who knows what other illegal drugs). He could have nearly OD’ed from the use and I wouldn’t even care about that. I don’t even care if he has had sex with multiple sex partners while married and under the influence of coke or whatever other drugs he might have used while partying.

What I care about, and what all of America should care about, is the man is a liar. He does not have the integrity or character of a piss ant, a trait which seems to run in his family.

He promised his constituency in Texas to make government smaller. He didn’t, however, but gave the state government of Texas more power and increased its interference in citizen’s lives, including in education. According to TEF (Texas Eagle Forum, a watchdog group), he increased government by about 38 percent. He will, along with a Republican Congress (a deadly combination for liberty), rape our constitutional rights just as surely.

According to informed sources, banks went broke due to Bush and his father only to be bailed out by the taxpayers (through manipulations by Bush Sr.). Of course, this wasn’t publicized much, either. Actually, a question that should be asked according to another source is: “What is the American voter to make of the fact that two of your brothers, one father, one grandfather, and one uncle have been involved in unseemly scandals of one sort or another? How do you distinguish your ethical code from theirs?” Of course, no person in the mainstream media is going to ask.

Nor will they ask (from the same source): “Can you name a business deal you have been in that hasn't raised ethical questions? That has made a profit without some form of government subsidy?”

Based on campaign contributions to him, he is making huge promises to special interest groups, promises that are certain to only benefit special interest groups’ rather than the everyday working people. Thus, Bush has already been bought by them and will respond as their puppet.

Taxes will be sure to increase as it is the way of the Republican Party and always has been. Remember his daddy’s “No more taxes”? Relief for the wealthy will be absorbed by the middle class income level.

Oh, Bush and his supporters will spout all kinds of rhetoric about how some tax change is going to relieve the pressure on people struggling in the middle class because of capital gain breaks (such as selling your home for a profit) and deducting private school fees (yeh, like hard working stiffs can afford private schools for their children) and the like but the reality is the burden will be increased (an unconstitutional burden, I might add) while the wealthy receive tax breaks. That, also, is the way of the Republican Party.

I will make one guarantee. If Bush becomes president because of the buying power of major businesses supporting the Republican Party, the people of this nation will suffer. That is the way with liars, felons, and people who are easily corrupted or have the power to corrupt others. Of course, the ‘real’ sources of his campaign funding relies on these attributes in the people they support (people they can buy) and will do all they can to get him (or one exactly like him) into office.

To reiterate, Bush used drugs for certain up until seven years ago by his own admission. Quite possibly, more than three witnesses, if not bought off or magically disappear, can testify Bush used drugs at parties and while flying military aircraft during training exercises (probably didn’t know about that possibility, did you?).

So, how about getting off this crap that he was a youth making a mistake?. He was an adult making adult decisions. And he is a liar which means he lacks in family values and integrity.

And, of course, his (ha, ha) “adult” decision now is to lie about his commissions of felonies and anything else that will help him dupe the ordinary people who mistakenly support him and his Republican cohorts. And, he will do it with the Republican-owned media’s help.

Like father, like son.
