We have people running for nomination for possible election to the highest office of the land, people who do not care about the Constitution, who do nothing to protect it and the rights of the people. All have been part of the destruction of liberty.
We have a Congress full of the most corrupted, felonious individuals and politically-tied groups the world has ever seen. Their aim is NOT the protection of the Constitution, the liberties and well-being of the people but, instead, has as their aim the removal of every
liberty from every citizen (except themselves, of course) and gaining complete control over the people.
Make no mistake - We do not really have freedom of choice concerning presidential elections since parties and money primarily determine who is running for the office. And, even more important, individuals who might be suitable are unable to campaign for office because of the tremendous costs to doing so.
Besides, if they did have the money to run, then it is highly
likely they also would accept things as they are - government over the people so the wealth would keep flowing into the two major parties’ coffers and the pockets of the individuals
making up the parties.
We have become a police state in which the Bill of Rights and those liberties dictated by the Constitution have been stomped into near oblivion. Any citizen may be stopped anytime regardless of innocence and harassed, even beaten and possibly killed simply for wanting to have constitutional rights observed.
Evidence is planted and (using the term rather loosely) ‘officers of the law’ are nearly always presented as being in the right. Property is confiscated without “due process of law” and lost forever to the victims who were innocent of any crime and oftimes not even charged.
Homes are broken into and people beaten or killed by government agencies. The (quote) reason (unquote): “Well, we thought they might have been drug dealers. And, we have to protect ourselves.” Yea, like that is a reason for killing inncocent people.
Then, government, rather than prosecuting for murder, lets the killer cops or whatever off with a slap on the wrist, if that. Usually, they are commended for doing a great job in the (what a bunch of crap since government has been, and may be, involved in drug dealing) “War Against Drugs”.
We have a public education system that is producing illiterate adults at the rate of fifty percent (and still increasing) and, it seems, this is perfectly acceptable to those in control,
the government, since it is essentially government schools that are failing so miserably.
But, then, an ignorant society is a society easy to control. Not only, then, do the people not know the laws as written, they cannot read the laws and, thus, government can state anything it
wishes with impunity.
We have a complacent society that misunderstands what liberty really is. A young lady I was talking to the other day told me of a time she was pulled over by a law enforcement person
because (this is what she was told, anyway, but was it necessarily the truth?) her vehicle matched the description of one the agency was looking for.
She had to produce ID, insurance papers, and the like. Then, she was asked if she minded if her vehicle was searched. She allowed it and, of course, nothing was found.
She thought her rights had been observed. Not so, though. The officer had no right to search her vehicle since he did not have a duly issued search warrant. And what if she had just cashed her check and had a lot of cash.
Or, what if she had questioned being stopped and refused to cooperate? What if she had been a person who had had a bad day and only wanted to get home and took it out on the officer for needlessly pulling her over?
Bus, here is the kicker. As soon as the stop was made, she was presumed guilty even though the officer knew she wasn’t the person being looked for. The search was based on presumption of guilt but guilt of what? It could have been anything and, lucky for her, the search proved her innocence in any wrong doing.
Even if the search had produced something, such as a large sum of money, what might have happened? Arrest, confiscation of the money and her vehicle, possibly being thrown down
on the shoulder of the road while being handcuffed, and effectively kidnapped since no
officer has any more right to detain innocent people than you or I do.
Thus, what is going on in policing type agencies all over this nation are rights being violated, property seized illegally, the presumption of innocence thrown out and replaced by the presumption of guilt anytime an officer stops a person for whatever reason. Courts even take the word of cops over citizens, cops who often have far more reason to lie than
the citizens. Witness the 3,000 cases of planted evidence and false testimoney in Los Angeles.
Presumption of guilt. Remember it as any citizen may be subjected to it at anytime. It is justice and the Constitution of the United States of America essentially wiped out in the name of crime prevention and is used to pad the pockets of ‘arresting’ officers. prosecuting attorneys, and judges.
Instead of the judicial system being used to protect the innocent, it is instead used to protect officers of the law enforcement agencies and of the courts while they rip off the public to the tune of roughly $450,000,000 per year.
Not a bad take for a bunch of thieves wearing badges, either for real or figuratively in the case of prosecutors and judges.
Of course, the biggest crooks of all, next to Congress, that is, the IRS gets away with what I must call theft of billions of hard-worked-for-money from citizens each and every year.
Technically, it may not be theft but, morally and ethically, it is.
The ever so familiar “income tax” on your personal earnings is not permitted by the Constitution, a fact that has been upheld in several US Supreme Court rulings and by the administrator of the IRS. But, through rather devious wording and one of the greatest frauds ever committed in the history of mankind, citizens think they owe taxes when, in reality, none is owed.
I could go on but the point is this: This is not the country founded by our forefathers. It is more like the tyrannical countries that have existed throughout the history and development of Mankind than a Republic based on the rights of the individual.
It is nearly as much a police state as Communist Russia or Hitler’s Germany or present day China (yes, armed government killers have been used against American citizens on American soil - Kent State, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Philedelphia, and a multitude of others). Give the people who now make up the government a few more years and the differences will be nonexistent.
Of course, if people leave their heads buried in the sands of ignorance, they can lose their asses without even knowing it happened. That is what has happened as complacency and/or ignorance allowed government to remove liberties and to violate the Constitution at nearly every tightening turn of the screw put into our people.
That, by the way, is also NOT the America invisioned by our founders. Vigilance over a central government was mandatory in the minds of these great men.
Vigilance, of necessity, demands knowledge, not ignorance of events and blind faith in the corruptible, such as voting for some person because of some passed-down party ‘affiliation’ that hasn’t any
real meaning and defeats the purpose of the vote. You know, like, “My daddy voted
Repblican and his daddy did so I do, too.” Really, how can one be vigilant unless one
knows what is going on?
Actually, a vote along party lines of this nature pretty well indicates the laziness of the person casting the vote. It is not a vote for our system as designed and implemented; it is a
vote for tyranny. It is a vote cast in ignorance. And far too many of the votes cast in this nation are cast in ignorance.
If you don’t believe this, ask ten friends who vote about the
issues and how the candidates they voted for stood on the issues. I.e., ask exactly why they voted as they did.
Actually, a vote along party lines simply because of party lines is a vote against the Republic for which our flag stands, the United States of America. It is a vote for continued
removal of rights as those who have been in office term-after-term gained tremendous power through their eventual ties to big business and huge money sources - those sources who buy legislative votes in Congress and influence the thinking of all government employees.
Mainstream media prints and states what it wants, also with impunity. Truth has taken a back seat to ratings and sales of the numerous publications who supposedly have the responsibility of conveying accurate news to the people.
Of primary importance to these perveyors of half-truths and no-truths is support for governmental individuals who scratch their backs. They glory in whatever fraud is being perpetrated by leading government officials they support along what will influence people in the direction desired by the media and the ‘behind-the-scenes’ controls over them.
Or, simply what will sell. But, accuracy and truth? Not hardly.
Take gun laws and increased controls. Media sources are supporting the government’s actions by not pounding on the facts that permitting concealed weapons decreases crime while complete control increases crime.
Nor do they concentrate on the facts concerning crimes by law enforcement itself and the shootings of innocent people.
No, mainstream media supporters of the federal government concentrate on school or work place shootings in the attempt to mislead people into believing complete gun control is the answer while leaving out the numbers of crimes prevented by citizens having firearms.
The aim is simple. If government and its media puppets get the job done, only the government will be armed - along with the rest of the criminals - while the people of this
nation will have little to protect themselves against the two.
We will be a nation at the mercy of government dictates and criminal actions by it and anti-social riffraff. No one
will be safe except for the criminals, whether blue collar or white collar or just plain old gutter-types.
Privacy will be a thing of the past. Every iota of your life will be in plain view of people who do not have any right to know anything about you. You will be numbered, categorized,
and subjected to every atrocity that can be committed against people who lack in liberty.
Property will be seized with no avenue of recovery available.
Hey, wait a minute. That is already happening. It is taking place right now probably as I write someplace in this country. It will be done by Gestapo actions of some law enforcement agency in the pseudo wars against crime and drugs, wars created by government to mislead people into believing it is in their best interests to not have firearms.
So, I sit and write but become more frustrated by the day as knowledge of this government and its agencies cause me to realize why our forefathers put their lives on the line in order
to create a nation founded on the principles of the rights of the individual.
I understand now but what can be done to halt what is now going on? Can the control of the destinies of the individuals of this nation be placed back in their own hands and government limited to its very small role in a Republic?
Or, are we now destined to be the slaves of a few with the unalienable rights granted by our Creator buried under the feces shovelled out by a government filled with people whose greed for money and power is destroying the principles this nation was founded on?
