Giving up liberty

Well, here we are side-tracked by a Congress bound and determined to take over complete control of the people of this nation. And, once again, its further control through gradual destruction of the Second Amendment is based on “for the good of the children”. Yeh, right, as if they really care.

Don't get me wrong - they care all right - but it is not for the children of this nation. Otherwise, the real problem underlying school shootings and other violence would be focused on, not removing more of the constitutional rights of all the people of the United States of America.

No, their care and concern is for the opportunity it presents Congress to eat away once again at the Second Amendment. This amendment allows us protection against our government gaining complete control. That is the purpose of the Second Amendment and I suspect even members of Congress know this.

They also know that until it is done away with, there is always the potential of the people reaching the breaking point of protecting their constitutional rights with weapons. To rid itself of this potential, the government must have complete control of all weapons.

An unarmed populace is a populace subjected to a totalitarian government. That is a matter of history so why do people think it would be any different for this Republic?

We have all those people in the media worrying about trade with China, a country that does not recognize the rights of the people over the rights of the government. Just what the heck do they think is going on here?

Our constitutional rights are being removed one by one. The fact is major legislation is focused at doing away with our liberties, liberties that thousands have died in order for our Republic to be as it is - or should I say - was.

The threat of national IDs has been slowed but it will come up again. Congress is not going to stop on this until every American can be immediately located and a complete history of each person at its fingertips.

We have a centralized government which essentially steals from the people by not giving the people the facts concerning the 16th Amendment. The 16th Amendment did not change anything concerning taxation on a direct basis. What has been fed all of us is bogus and, if every politician who professes to have integrity did have integrity, they would be making sure the applicable sections of Article I be applied as written.

Instead of the truth, though, we have a central government that has armed people who should be no more than book keepers keeping track of the excise taxes due from very specific directly taxable persons, either privileged as in a corporation, aliens, or citizens having earnings from a foreign source.

Why armed? Why, so the IRS can force its unconstitutional acts on the people of this nation through fear, intimidation, or direct confrontation. Isn't this more like a Gestapo or a theft ring than an organization for free people in a Republic?

IT is a centralized government which has essentially removed everyone’s individuality by fooling the people into believing they must be numbered. We are being treated just like animals with their ears clipped or a tattooed number placed on their bodies so their owners can track them and their offspring. Hm, didn't the Nazis number the Jews they controlled?

This government supposedly existing by the consent of the people pushes for additional electronic ID’s so the task of tracking is eased. Thus, every law now being considered or that has been passed as a means of either fighting the war against crime or dead-beat fathers removes part of your liberty, even though you may be completely law-abiding.

This so-called benevolent centralized government, if it chooses to do so, can monitor your purchases, your private conversations, and also film you doing whatever it is you do when walking down a street, in a park, or virtually any other place they want. With surveillance technology as advanced as it now is, this government for and of itself can even monitor your movements and activities in your home. (Yeh, that stuff you see in the movies is real.)

This government supposedly for the people also effectively steals from the people through the same numbering system that ID’s people, the system we know as social security. However, it is not the system most Americans think it is. Read this and remember it.You do not have to have a social security number, nor do you have to fill out a W-4. But, has your government told you that? No and it never will until forced to by the increasing millions who are forcing their constitutional rights.

Republicans flat lied when it promised to make government smaller and less intrusive. The Democratic Party is, of course, helping to give its own (whether Repuplican or Democrat) more power over the people. While hiding behind Clinton, China, and Kosovo, the government that is commonly thought (once again) as being of the people, for the people, and by the people is anything but that.

In summary, our - no - the government is removing our liberties and subjecting every one of us to additional governmental controls. It is intruding increasingly in our private lives and every intrusion, regardless of it seeming to be harmless to law-abiding citizens, takes away freedom. And, that, Folks, is extremely dangerous.

You see, it is not making government smaller and limiting it as it should be limited. It is making it larger and stronger. The only real difference between it and the government in China will soon be that it hasn’t recently resorted to opening fire on protesters with firearms (don’t forget Kent State if you believe a Tiananmen Square is not possible in this country).

The current attack is against the Constitution; in other words, a legislative Tiananmen Square. With the complacency and foolish faith we have in our way of life as a given, the method our government is now using will have the same effective result as that of the Chinese government - complete control of the people.

If you allow your representative to vote in favor of the additional gun laws (HR 1903 and HR 1768), then you are allowing another vote against the Constitution of the United States. Such a vote would be a vote for increased federal government control over the people of this nation.

Is that, Ladies and Gentlemen, what you really want, to give up your liberties to tyrannical self-serving people who were elected to govern as limited by the Constitution rather than serving themselves?
