If the election were conducted by the Constitution, it is true we would not yet know who the President and might not for a few weeks. So what, though, since the Constitution allows for a few weeks to make this most important of decisions.
No one can doubt that government is far too big and that its collective mind seems to think bigger is better. Than may be true in some cases but it is not true concerning the federal government and its ever expanding programs and instructions for the same.
Take income tax. It is somewhere between three and 7 million words that have been written so as to confuse readers. This is so the government can steal the public’s earnings through fraudulent means, however they might play down this fact.
Lending to this problem is the few honest people there are in the government people can’t understand the tax code either so they also work to fool people into voluntary compliance through illegal means or coerced by illegal actions. Unlawful garbage of the highest order.
Or take the government’s overkill on any subject you want to bring up. Normally, what can be said in a sentence ends up being several pages of government bull dung. Read the description of a pencil. I don’t recall it all at this time but it is ridiculous.
How about bills that often become laws. Well, they shouldn’t since not even House and Senate members interpret the bills the same. But, they get passed by the idiots anyway. This is partly because these ambiguous (should make them null and void as contenders to be laws) bills often contain hidden provisions and intentions the two parties have worked together on.
The point is that government just flat screws things up. (I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact many congress people are attorneys trained to rip off people with gusto.) Because of this and because it is our Constitution, the election of the president should be done as in the Constitution. It is a simple system that does give people a tiny bit of power in voicing who is to become president.
Also, a demand on State legislators could give greater citizen control over Electors and, thus, over the election. The change, if determined to be desired, would be that the citizens vote for each elector individually. Regardless, there must be a counter balance to State legislators determining Electors as their party biases and controls could easily affect the results.
In reference to ballots, the government cannot keep anything simple, direct, and to the point. Therefore, it should not be involved in designing ballots in the future. It is just beyond its ability to make any form simple. This is due to the fact it is usually trying to pull the wool over the people’s eyes. Therefore, ballot design must fall to the people through an independent design firm.
The things we can be certain of are that the federal government opens the door to corruptness, assures it can close the door (even hide it) to cover up of its corruptness, and that it thinks it must control every aspect of every person’s life. In accomplishing this, it does so by maintaining control over who gets into Congress, the Executive, and Judicial Branches.
Primarily, though, whether control is Republican or Democrat doesn’t really matter. Regardless of which party has had majoral control, government has expanded during every administration for the last 200 years or thereabouts.
Also, politicians in control have become wealthy as have those these multi-term icons have mentored. So, which of these parties is the majority in Congress is not all that important to their goals of expanded corruption.
Nope, what is important to these corrupted people in government is that the people who value integrity and will work for integrity in government do not get organized into a third, fourth, or fifth party which has strength through multitudes of members. In the minds of the corrupted, this must not happen so the government power structure prevents it by controlling the media and the voting process; that is, who gets voted into which offices. This is quite easy for the corrupted to control.
Aiding greatly in this is the fact the media control results in government also having control over what is said. The
developing parties can be slammed day after day, false information given about the person or new party, and so on. People are so acclimated to believing anything certain commentators say they believe them regardless, even if the proof is shown the commentators or the subjects of the reports lied.
To further insure power retention, the two major parties (the Federal Government) developed the Federal Election Commission, an organization that is not in any way constitutional. Every distortion of the elective process, including the commission itself, is done with the intent that the two major parties retain power. It is much the same as the federal government hiring
government agencies or investigators to investigate government cover-ups.
The FEC sets its rules so it can weed out threats. Rules are made to prevent threats from becoming serious contenders and so on. The truth is any citizen 35 or older can qualify for the office of President. The FEC can’t control this but can control other aspects of the process, not legally, of course, but because of the fear of the federal government people have been taught to have.
And, as for financing potential contenders, that isn’t up to the people. It is not in the Constitution that the people provide the funds for those who are favored by government to be in government. What a crock of BS this is right along with the means in which the illegal funds are obtained.
Included in this crock are those terrific wastes of money, the Republican and Democrat National Conventions. If these political farces are to take place, they should be supported by those involved, not by the general public. The conventions are, in essence, just big parties serving NO useful purpose in meeting the requirements of the central government as stated in the Constitution.
The whole system of electing the president is designed by the FEC to allow huge money interests to control those in government who wish to run, to prevent others from being elected, to keep other serious-threat parties from developing, and to assure those who control the purse strings that buy the offices to continue being able able to buy the offices. I.e., the parties wouldn't want to allow the prevention of the petroleum industry from kicking in its millions upon millions to every Congress.
And, of course, the media helps tremendously by ass kissing those in the Rep-Dem Coalition Party by not putting people from other parties or independents in the news. Therefore, they can’t get well-known and develop a following. If one had millions upon millions to spend, even a nobody as incompetent as dumber-than-dirt Bush had - well, of course, one would get some recognition but still not enough.
Witness Perot. With media and major business interests backing this guy, there very well could have been a third-party administration. But, if Perot did as he said he would do, this would have negatively affected big business and essentially destroyed the gravy train that empties its cars at the doors of Congress annually. (Then, again, maybe he (and Forbes) were political ploys just as Nader might well have been in this election. When dealing with the people in government, it can be hard telling until someone finally slips up and lets the cat out of the bag.)
Because it takes NOT only the recognition but also, the backing of the wealthy who buy specific favors (some of us call it “bribing”) from politicians in position to give the favors, additional anti-third party control is applied. The processes limiting government control to the two major parties is all tied together in a neat little package just as is the fraud of the IRS, Social Security, the Federal Reserve Bank, and the BATF, the latter of which is fast becoming the enforcement branch of the US Government in forcing compliance to unconstitutional laws.
Maybe it is starting to backfire on them. The more complicated it has become, the more complicated it is to keep a process running smoothly. Once again, the government took a simple constitutional process and distorted it to a non-recognizable mass of complicated procedures spread out over 50 States. In short, it took the simple and screwed it up to suit its un-American, communistic pursuits.
As it now stands, I wouldn’t believe the results, no matter what they are. For one thing, I find it extremely interesting that a state that was sure to be a Democrat state even the day of the election suddenly in the middle of vote counting and, even though going as predicted, reversed itself so to speak.
I also find it extremely interesting that the state is headed in part by a relative of the candidate the reversal favored. Meaning there quite possibly was a Bush in the woodpile. It sure wouldn't be the first time a Bush did something illegal, unethical, immoral, and just plain mean.
Since questions have come up in Florida, I must also question the accuracy of the other 49 States. Are there other questionable events that have taken place? Are ballot boxes missing? Or, votes not counted that should have been. Or, votes counted that should NOT have been.
Anyway, I believe that this election will go down in history as one of the most crooked elections ever. I believe the truth will be known one day. When the truth is revealed, I believe the depth of the utter election corruption by those in power in the government will be exposed. I believe, if
investigated thoroughly, that one would find corruption in the ballots of every State, that the manipulations concerning the taking of ballots were controlled by the political machinery of both the Republican and Democratic parties.
If I am wrong, I’ll apologize. But, to date, I haven’t had to apologize. When the truth has outed, I have been right in every case.
(Addendum: Perhaps of interest is that my basis for predictions is usually no more than probabilities based on past behavioral patterns of government entities, whether those entities be organizations, individuals, or small groups set up by the organizations or individuals.)
