As stated by many, including myself, it was (and is) a whole lot of hogwash. The party is now trying to strengthen party and Congressional control in a unprecedented fashion.
We, the people of this nation, have already allowed Congress in the past to go against the Constitution of the United States concerning taxation, the social security code, and who knows what else. We rolled over without a whimper.
If this Congress gets its way, if you roll over this time, we are in 1984 with Big Brother having control over every facet of your life. You will not be able to get married, get a job, apply for any type of government assistance, drive a vehicle, conduct financial transactions, go to the hospital, obtain medicine, et cetera, without the permission of our governing body.
That, Folks, is what a national ID will do for you. It is against all precepts of freedom we have. Already, SSNs (social security numbers) are being used improperly. You have been misled by your governing body into believing you must have a SSN. That is as false as can be. Nor do you have to have a TIN (Tax Identification Number).
But, you believe you do because you have been taught that and because a centralized
government says you do. But, THEY HAVE LIED TO YOU. Because of our letting Washington get away with atrocity after atrocity, lie
after lie, robbing us of privacy and freedoms time after time, they believe they can do
anything they wish.
If you allow Republicans to set a National ID, forget it. Your vote will not mean a darn
thing. It virtually doens’t now, let alone if you let them do as they will this time. You see,
it won't matter who you elect - the core of politicians that have been in Washington since
dirt will control everything anyway.
You Republicans put the clods in Congress that are pushing for Big Brother status. Now,
do your duty as an American citizen and demand that your constitutional rights be reinstated
and preserved. If you don’t, you will for the rest of your lives, pay the dearest price
possible, the REMAINDER OF YOUR PRIVACY AND YOUR
FREEDOM.
Whether you believe me or not at this time, you can be assured that you will in the future.
Your life will be an open book to anyone with access to your complete history from the
time you were born until the present. Nothing in your life will be held sacred.
So, I ask you - is that what you want? If it isn’t, then start calling and writing your
representatives in Congress. Or, do as I do - write as many as you possibly can.
Afterall, once in Washington, their constituency is all of us, not just the people in their
district.
