Somehow, he and his supporters think it has been proper for him to investigate every rumor
of impropriety which had the slightest possibility it could include President Clinton.
His investigations of the rumors or alleged improper acts are justified by, hmmm, linking it to the Whitewater investigation.
Has the money spent produced one solid shred of evidence against Mr. Clinton? No. Starr
would have allowed it to ‘leak’ if he had or
would have immediately taken it to the Grand Jury. I don’t believe the man could stand
having solid evidence and keeping
his mouth shut.
Too bad his dream of being an “All-American Hero” is at our expense and only in his own
mind. Besides, even if Mr. Clinton did support the allegation he received oral sex from
Lewinsky, would it justify the cost?
No, because it has nothing to do with Whitewater and because it is not a crime to have
illicit sex. It may be morally wrong
but - -
Oh, no, please don’t get Starr investigating morals; it would last for
centuries and we would know no more than we know right now.
And, what of Jones? Starr is using American taxpayers’ dollars to help a woman in a civil
case in Arkansas. Is that justifiable? No, because it has absolutely nothing to do
with Whitewater. (Hm, is it even legal?)
Or, has his job changed to - “Independent Counsel of Let’s Get the
President at any
Price.” This must be the case because one seldom hears Whitewater
mentioned any more.
Is his job worth the thousands ($31,000-45,000) he spends daily? Only if you are a Clinton
opponent and wish to see the excellent job he has done trashed.
Otherwise, Ladies and Gentlemen, Starr is just a big fat
waste of taxpayers’ dollars.
