My first thoughts were “Oh, no, what in the world is going on?" Then, "Why does he need additional space and
staff?"
To date, Starr has not produced definitive evidence of any illegal involvement of President
Clinton in Whitewater. Also, he had been spending, as a close estimate, a million dollars a
month to continue beating a dead horse.
He had 17 attorneys and who knows how many support personnel for those people. Now,
he has added ten more and now has six in Little Rock and 21 in the nation’s capital.
His office space has more than doubled by his adding on 7,400 square feet which means
his monthly rent in Washington is $43,186.
Hm, he had 17 attorneys working for him, along with
support for them, and has not been able to find any actual evidence of wrong-doing by Mr.
Clinton. He hired ten more so does that mean the first 17 failed and that he believes the 10
he has now hired can find evidence that has eluded detection for years now?
Also, the focus has changed from Little Rock to the nation’s capitol so it would seem the
investigation as such of Whitewater must have been put on a back burner until evidence is
found that shows that President Clinton has lied about an affair.
Now, I ask you - if President Clinton did lie about a sexual encounter with Lewinsky, is
that really worth proving? Is it worth the tens of thousands of dollars daily of the
taxes hard working Americans pay in? Is it worth the damage being done?
Only if you are a Republican that couldn’t defeat the modern day President of the People
politically. And, even that is questionable as every attempt at dirty pool has ultimately
backfired on the party.
