Actually, this isn't an article but just a letter to an editor concerning the 2nd Amendment.

Letter to the Editor

I believe all gun laws affecting law abiding citizens are unconstitutional and should be thrown out with not new laws made.

Concerning trigger locks and Brady background checks. Any law proposed concerning backgrounds checks and trigger show a complete lack of common sense besides being unconstitutional. Criminals are not prevented from getting weapons by 20000 laws now on the books so how could any rational person believe two more unconstitutional laws would prevent the predators on society from obtaining firearms?

The reality is gun laws only affect law abiding citizens and do nothing to decrease crime. But, armed law abiding citizens with permits to carry concealed weapons do. Therefore, a COMMON SENSE LAW would be to require every law abiding citizen to carry a loaded weapon and be fully trained to use it to thwart those who would commit crimes against others.
