* My poetry corner - while purusing the Polk Country Fair exhibit guide last summer I was intrigued at the wealth of poetry categories -- cowboy poetry, dating poetry, school talk poetry, etc., so I sat down and wrote a poem or two for each category. Be forewarned, some of them aren't even borderline good.
*Keiko bashing! - I wrote this column way back in the summer of '98 and was immediately attacked by animal rights activists everwhere. Well, not really, because it was never published. Still, it's a good, short read, even if it is a bit outdated.
