Our Photo Album

One hot summer day in August this year, as I repainted a room in my home, I had the television tuned in to Home and Garden Television (HGTV).   As I listened to their programming I realized they were no longer discussing home improvements and faux finishes.  They were now discussing the infamous feline species.   Since we had a cat, an orphaned female we've had since she was 3 weeks old, I thought it might be both informative and interesting.  Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a new passion.  As I watched, an unfamiliar breed called the Ragdoll caught my attention.  The more I watched, the more I learned.  The more I learned, the more I wanted a Ragdoll. . .and the rest is history.

My quest to locate a Ragdoll breeder in Hawai'i was unsuccessful.    I then turned to Australian and New Zealand Ragdoll breeders who are exempt Hawaii's quarantine laws as long as specific health requirements are met.  I've met some wonderful people who have tried to help us purchase our foundation breeding pair.   We have worked for many months with Kiwi Magic - Home of Champions in New Zealand (Thank You Margaret!) and have adopted the most adorable, well-mannered babies.
