Module administration

All modules comprises of a system administrator.   The administrator controls Human resources information, plant equipment, locations and assets  with import and export facilities. The Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85/1993 and Regulations and Mine Health and Safety Act No. 72/1997 and Minerals Regulations can be viewed.

Module Information

Module 1: Generates Executive Summary, Accident report (Annexure 2), WCL 1-2,  Month-end statistics (DIFR,TIIR), Graphs etc.

Module 2: Database with 980 questions compiled from the OHSAct and Regulations.  Action reporting and Statistics.  Action reverse function as action reports are completed.

Module 3: Environmental Compliance Audit - Environmental Acts, Land Act, Water Act etc.

Module 3: Hazardous Locations Compliance Audit - SABS 0108:1995, SABS 089:1965 

Module 4: All required statutory appointments generated from a database of  45 statutory appointments and several non-statutory appointments.

Module 5: Man-Job specifications compiled for the management and administration of employee exposures.

Module 6: Job Safety Analysis and Work Safe Procedures.   Procedures are generated while selected information is fed into system.

Module 7: All risks assessment system using a matrix to establish the level of probability / consequences, risk ranking and risk reduction.

Module 8: Health and Safety System Audit.

Future development include Training record management and Plant inspection and maintenance records. 

New development:  Occupational Health Risk Exposure profile, medical surveillance, entry and exit medicals
