The base-chakra lies between your buttocks and your sex-organs. The energy flow is down wards.

The base-chakra is your connection with nature. When we ground we make contact between the base-chakra and the earth. Normally when this connection is correct you will receive energy from the earth as well as give some energy back. This will give a relaxing feeling and will also heal you.

The base-chakra is also our connection with material goods on earth like money, food, possessions, and enc. The better this chakra is developed de stronger you will stand on your feet en the better you know your self.

The number of this chakra is 4, so al shapes and lines will return four times. The base color is green and the opponent is red. You may use al kinds of red and green to draw this chakra. The drawing on this page is the bases from were you start drawing. To see some examples use the link.

Make a base circle with your pair of compasses and divide this circle in to four. Put the punt of your pair of compasses at each point on the circle and make a new circle the same size as the first. Use for the inner circle the same marking point's just make your pair of compasses a little smaller. The big outside circle's are drawn the same way only different size's. In all the cases the four points you made on the base circle is the center of your next circle. When finished wipe out the base circle and some lines from the inner circle so it looks like a knot.
