The University of Hyderabad has a good reputation amongst the companies and a large number of companies come for the Campus Placements every year. The Placement & Counselling Center helps the students in all respects.
The first(1999-2000) batch of MSc-Tech(CT) experienced the placements for the first time in July-August 2000. They went through the campus placement procedure along with M Tech(Computer Science), MTech(Artificial Intelligence) and M.C.A.'s. In all, the placements were overwhelming, with most of the students of all the above-mentioned courses placed in good companies. In fact, few of them, including one MSc-Tech(CT) student, achieved the Golden Feast of getting placed in two companies.
In particular, 4 out of 6 students of MSc-Tech (Computational Techniques) were placed. Two of them in Mahindra British Telecom (MBT, Pune) and one each in SQL-Star India Ltd & MegaSoft India Ltd.From the second batch 2 out of 7 got placements in C.S.S.I.
The course has been renamed as M.Tech C.T. recently
