This anime hit in Japan is also a hit in the U.S. Pokemon is basically about this ten year-old kid, Ash, who wants to be the greatest Pokemon master in the whole world. However, there are many other trainers looking for the same goal such as Gary, Ash's arch rival since they were real young.

Besides Gary, there needs to be real some villians and Ash and his freinds run into many along their journey. But the main enemy so far is Jesse and James, who are part of the evil team Rocket's scheme to capture or steal, which ever one comes first, all the rare Pokemon they can find.

Right now there are about 300 plus total Pokemon and Ash plans to capture them all. His friends Misty, a gym leader, and Brock, a gym leader/Pokemon breeder join him in his quest to capture Pokemon. However, when Brock desides to leave things start to heat up even more for Ash and Misty. Will Ash have what it takes to be the greatest Pokemon master?
