Ranma½ is an excellent comedy and action anime. With it's nonstop hilarious humor and stupidity, there is no reason that you shouldn't like this anime. Also with it's rather unique martial arts techniques, it adds a twist to the action.

Ranma½ takes place in Japan, where Ranma Sao Tome is supposed to meet up with his fiancee, Akane Tendo, and receive the family dojo after his marriage. Ranma had trained with his father in Anything-Goes Martial Arts at the cursed springs of Jusenkyo. To their bad luck, Ranma falls into a cursed spring that turns him into a girl when splashed with cold water and a guy again when splashed with hot water. Likewise for his father, he turns into a panda. Throughout the series Ranma and Akane constantly get into fights but at the same time show affection for each other, despite Ranma's bizzare situation. To add on to Ranma's troubles with Akane, he finds out later on that he has 3 other fiancees! They all have their own strange stories that always add up to Ranma's father selling him out, yet Ranma ends up taking all the flak from everyone. Plus, 3 klutzy guys are after him as well and it's not to become engaged with him. They all want him dead, accusing him of stealing the girls that they are obsessed with. Of course, Ranma wouln't just let them beat him up, so he has to show them the true darkside and open a can of whoopass. Who will get to Ranma first? Will it be Ukyou? Kodachi? Moose? Shampoo? Kuno? Ryoga? Or will his engagement with Akane go as planned? Well to find out you have to watch it for yourself! :P
