Movies: The Hinchman
Era
Drowsy Pit
The inspiration for Drowsy Pit was basically a spin-off
on Sleepy Hollow, where a lot of people die without worrying about story
or feelings, things that we do not do well with. We had a couple heads
and a bicycle shop, so we got started. I played the killer, otherwise
known as "The Psychotic Bicycle Repair Man Who Likes To Maul Body
Parts". Nick played Ima Person and the hero, whose name was John
Person, I think. Matt just got killed a lot. Overall, it was a good
first attempt, and it got our movies rolling.
Into The Future: The Dumb
Cheerleader Who Could
This movie was a flop, but it was fun making. It was
about a dumb cheerleader, played by Shyla, who had a sixth sense of
being able to tell when someone was going to die, but she was too stupid
to figure out the whole thing, and eventually predicted her own death,
and, well...died. Nick played the vicious killer, and I played Ralph
Schlick, a psychologist, and the dumb cheerleaders folks. Overall, the
movie sucked, but it was pretty good.
Armageddon 2
One of our finest masterpieces. This movie was about
the end of the world, kind of like the first one, but the cause of this
catastrophe was linked to a terrible storm in which concrete fell from
the sky. Armageddon 2 is filled with cameos from local celebrities,
including Dallas Chevrolet owner Gregg Fields and radio DJ Porterhouse.
Also starring were some local hillbillies with their account of the
storm. Nobody had any particular role, we just wandered around town as
ourselves. Matt, Nick, Mor'n, Shyla, and I were all in this film.
Of Mice and Three-Wheeled
Bicycles
Possibly our greatest movie of all time, and Nick's
last. This movie was about psychotic mice who got into liquor and beer
and stuff. They started killing people because of a special chemical in
alcohol, known as lictitine. A line of scientists, a hero named
Mouseman, and many other people tried to stop the mice. One solution accidentally
turned the mice into really big mice, and more terror took place with
great special effects which consisted of putting the small fake mice
real close to the camera lens and making them look big. It was ingenius.
Nick played Mouseman as well as the news reporter, Matt played
Mouseman's assistant and the president's assistant, Mor'n played the
President of the United States of America and many people that died
(including the person riding the three-wheeled bicycle in the beginning
of the movie), and I played the scientist Greg Forbes and many other
people that died. A cameo by Greg Sollars as an innocent victim added
greatly to the film. Nick would never be in our movies again.
