Interpol's Antics is coming out on Tuesday. Be sure to pick it up, because it's sooooooo good! To coincide with the release of their sophomore album, they are opening up art spaces called, well, Interpol Space. There are three locations, as of now, in NYC, LA, and London. I had the opportunity to visit the one in NYC, and it's not located at 199 Lafayette Street-it's actually one door down at 200-something Lafayette Street (I didn't find that out until climbing several levels of stairs in sketch 199). It was pretty interesting, because I've never been to anything like it. It had screen prints of the band members, photos, collages, and a TV that displayed all the film contest winners. They are also selling a Box Set of 7"s. Also I finished my Curiosa fest review. Later.-Nancy

Welcome to the new look of Headcase. It's so much more eye pleasing than the last one, because my brother designed the WHOLE site. Thank you so much! The look of the website has changed and the ads have somehow become more irritating on the site, and I don't know how to fix it but please try to ignore it. Anyway lots of albums coming out in the fall to look out for including Interpol's Antics and Elliott Smith's final album. Pick them up towards the end of September -Nancy

Hey everyone! Sorry that it has taken an age to get things going again, this summer has been chaotic...I actually finished these articles a long time ago, but I've been very lazy and busy... so I reviewed Napoleon Dynamite which might I add is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen!! Yea, so sad story about my local band review, I thought I saved it in my mail box, actually I did, and then stinkin' AOL has to go and delete it because its over 20 days old...so sorry, if you give me another hour, I'll try and muster up something close to what I had before...this makes me a lot sadder than I may be coming off right now...but if you really can't wait to check this local band out...hold your horses...its coming! -Sandhya

First things first....SORRY! We haven't updated the page...since ages ago...WE ARE STILL ALIVE! I wrote the HFStival article a couple days after the concert...which was like 2 months ago, but decided to hold it back until i got the rest of the issue done with...which i haven't...but it will be done..sometime. Anywho...Blue Jay Walking is our new (after several months) Band of the Month! YAY! You can view the article here. You really have to check them out! Thanks to Blue Jay Walking for making the interview possible. Sandhya has the local band article about Down with Fupa and the movie article for Napoleon Dynamite (you MUST watch that movie-good stuff) that she will share with us later. Curiosa: It’s like Ozzfest, but not…

My favorite thing about the Cure is how they have the talent to capture human emotions into three to five minute songs. They’ve been doing it now for nearly 30 years without any serious disappointments...

MOVIE REVIEW
Napoleon Dynamite....huhhh!

We've all been there, at least once in our lives, for me it was many times...we've had our share of being the outcast, we've all taken turns being the complete freak, the complete weirdo whom no one associates with but everyone makes fun of, thats just the way of life...

It's All About the Music...not...

It is extremely difficult to be consistent with the phrase, “it’s all about the music.” I have argued with someone about musicians and their roles outside of music, and found myself stretching things pretty thin to support my view, needless to say I lost my argument.
