2. Press SELECT

A small heart should "beat" at the bottom left corner and in a few seconds your heart rate will appear in the lower half of the screen. If the heart beat has not registered after a few seconds, refer to "Trouble-shooting" below.
 
 

3. Press SET/START-STOP
(Watch will start recording exercise time)

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

If your heart beat won't register"

a) Your band isn't wet enough
b) Your band isn't tight enough
c) You are too close to sommeone else wearing a watch and your signals are crossing
