Cat's Inc., is joint undertaking of two CFA registered catteries located in beautiful Knoxville, TN and historic Fredericksburg, VA. We have been breeding beautiful pet/companion quality Himalayan and Persian cats since 1991. Our goal is for a healthy, happy, well socialized and loving companion kitten. We do not breed for specific colors or features, emphasizing quality and vitality rather than quantity. We always try to coordinate the kitten disposition with the families surroundings and lifestyle. Occasionally, we may have a retired breeder or knowledge of other pets that are available for adoption.All of our kittens are home raised and CFA registered and when they join your family, they will have been veterinarian checked, wormed, litter trained, and already received their first kitten distemper shot. You will also receive a CFA certification and current shot record when you pick-up your new companion. Contracts that dictate how you care for or raise your kitten are not a requirment. We feel that humans rights are just as important as animal rights and hope that you will treat your new companion with the same compassion and love that you would any other member of your family.
Having enjoyed cats most of our lives, made it an easy division to turn our hobby into a successful cattery. Starting as a labor of love, we have thoroughly enjoyed each and every day working with our cats. In order to learn more about the care of my cats, I studied and obtained an animal science degree in 1992. The more I learn about my cats, the healthier my kittens will be. I always try to pass this knowledge on to my new kitten owners.
We believe in the old saying "garbage in, garbage out" and feel that diet is the key to good health. Therefore we feed Science Diet products as over the years have experienced the exceptional results that are worth the monetary investment.
Cat's Inc. maintains a yearly vaccination schedule that protects against rabies, distemper, FeLV, and FIP. With a sound diet, quality veterinary care, and lots of love, we offer a healthy, quality kitten at a exceptional price.
We normally have such a wonderful response to our new kittens, that often they are spoken for before they are even born. For this reason, we NEVER SHIP our kittens. It is not uncommon for cat lovers to travel from several states away to obtain one of our kittens. Please contact the appropriate cattery that has the kitten that you would like to visit for travel directions to the cattery. If you will contact us just before you leave, we will hold a kitten to allow travel time from your departure location. If an unforeseen delay occurs, it takes only a quick phone call to inform us of the delay and we will make other arrangements at that time. Please realize that we cannot hold a kitten indefinitely and may have to make the kitten available to others. During your departure phone call remember to ask any questions you may have, such as price or conformation of sex and color, etc...
