I can see he meant a lot to you. As he did to me and many others. Phil and I dated all last summer. He was the first guy I dated after a marriage of 8yrs which failed. I was very young when I married. Now 29 with no children. He was supportive thru my seperation, helped me move into my own place, and always gave me a shoulder to cry....and trust me I needed it sometimes. Well to make a very long story short. We stopped dating last October, not because I didn't love him, but because I was not ready for a committed relationship again. We continued to talk all winter, dated a few times here and there.....then he was gone. My memories are of he and I riding his motorcycle...long rides, giving me time to think....and enjoy him. I can't wait sometimes til I see him again....it hurts very much to loose a friend like Phil. Glad he touched you as well. Ronda |

George and John were brothers and married Caroline and Jane Thompson who were sisters. Caroline and Jane's mother Rachel Dalbey Thompson was my great-aunt. I have just located a descendant of Jane Thompson Blevins. Would you know anything more about the family? Rachel Dalbey married Hugh Alexander Thompson in Clinton County, Ohio in the 1830s. Caroline and George were suppose to have lived in Cidan County, Missouri. Do you know of a Cidan County Missouri? Caroline was suppose to have died 9 March 1915. She was born 22 February 1841. Jane died 5 December 1876 in Mendon Twp., Chariton County, Missouri. She is buried in the Newcomer Cemetery. John, her husband was suppose to have remarried.
