Rocky is now "retired" and traveling around the country in the comfort of his new owners motorhome. There is little in life Rocky loves more than a ride in the car! The Rock is missed here like few that have gone before.......but due to a potentially serious eye problem he was neutered and placed as a loving pet.

Rocky is 11 1/2" of dynamite! THIS will be the dog that could replace Casey in both agility and obedience - when Casey feels like retiring!! Counted among the "highlights" of Rocky's career was his fabulous win of the Total Dog Award at the 1998 UKC Premier. UKC has always promoted the ideals that a correctly made dog will naturally function better as an athlete - thus the Total Dog recognition came into being. In order to qualify you must have a win in conformation (with competition!) and also qualify in obedience and/or agility on the same day. Sounds fairly easy but trust me - it isn't!!! This was the third year I had entered Total Dog competition at the Premier and the first time we qualitied. Doing one or the other is not the problem - but having a dependable dog that can hold up in the midwestern summer heat and perform well in more than one event - well, it's an honor to be among those called into the ring to receive this award! Last year I believe there were close to 40 dogs entered in the competition and less than 10 qualified - with Rocky being the only "toy"/companion dog!!

On 9/20/97 Rock again went Best of Breed - this time for a 5 point major under Joan Alexander.
