NORTH WAPITI KENNELS

Welcome to the North Wapiti Kennels Home Page. We are Karen and Mark Ramstead and we live in Perryvale, Alberta, Canada where we raise Siberian Huskies that are competitive in Conformation, Obedience, and Racing. We are very proud of our race record, which includes winning the 1994 Gold Rush Trail 54 mile Sled Dog Race and 4th place in the 1996 Race to the Sky 300 in Montana. In 1999 we ran Knik200 and Klondike300 in Alaska - qualifying us to run IDITAROD in year 2000!! In the show ring we also have results to be proud of. Many of our dogs, including Oreo, Spud, Bravo and Minnow are Group Placers, but our 'star'in the ring is Breezy, who in 1996 achieved muliple Group Placings and 2 Best in Shows.
