My husband's death has forced me to sell my doll collections. I would like to sell six 17" porcelain LENOX dolls which have been discontinued. Two of the six have been signed by the artist. I would like to sell them individually for $500. each or all six for $2500. This is well below issue price! They are all mint in box and beautiful. I also have a collection of 45 Klumpe dolls. These are molded felt dolls made in Spain many years ago. Several in the collection are quite rare and all are in good to excellant condition. I have this R&B (Aranbee) doll that is named Nanette. She is brunette. Very pretty and in good shape. Her hair needs some work. I have been told that she used to walk, but walks no more. Her eyes open and close. She has a small scratch on her cheek but she has EX coloring. She apprears to be in EX shape - just needs a home. I bought her from some nasty old man who lived in a trailer and smoked a cigar - about a year ago. He told me she was worth a couple hundred dollars. I bought her for $75.00 and am willing to sell her for just what I have into her. The dress she wears is not original but the shoes may be. She also has undies and nude stockings. Looks to be about 15" or so (I'm really terrible at guessing) I do know she is old and I have no need for her. If you are interested please LMK Thanks.
I have heard that the doll hospitals can fix the walking mechanism. I would trade it for a nice buble-cut or TNT Barbie even - doesn't have to be cash.
