I want to thank the following people who helped me prepare this. In addition to sending me ideas and expressing their feelings to me, they sent many words of encouragement to a poor frightened Girl Scout leader who has never had a fondness for public speaking... They really came through for me! I hope with all my heart that I haven't left out a single name.....

These people sent so many ideas, I had a wealth of words to work with. Much wonderful material had to be left out in the interests of time. Also, because I was speaking to a group of "historical society" types (if one believes in type-casting, which I generally don't, however, working with a group of strangers, I had to begin somewhere.....), I left out a lot of very interesting and thought-provoking ideas involving Girl Scout program, computers in general, and the internet specifically. I am working on a way to share all of the wonderful thoughts and ideas I received from these generous people in more detail. Any suggestions?   : )
