God is the creator of the Universe. He is three parts of the same God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost. All to often in this life, we try to live our life without God in it. I, for one, know from personal experience that it just isn't possible. Our lives should begin and end in the church. Dedications should take place as soon after birth as possible. And, of course, your funeral should take place in the church as well. God should be the foundation of our marriages--those too should begin and end in the church. From the wedding vows at the church alter to the marriage's end when death do you part. My life is full of mistakes from trying to live a life without God: I'm an alcoholic; my first marriage ended in divorce; my finances are messed up with more debts than income; I became addicted to pornography; and I went through a series of relationships that were bad for me. However, once I got right with God and started living my life as He would want me to with prayer and reading His Word, my life straightened out: I don't depend on alcohol in my life; my finances are on their way to being fixed--I will be debt-free within one year; I am at a point where sex is viewed as an honored and sacred event that should wait til marriage where it can be enjoyed as an act of love between a husband and a wife. I have learned from personal experience that living without God is not living at all.
