Reaching Out Ministries, is dedicated to ministering to the needs of those who are hurting. Our purpose is to minister life, hope and the healing love of God to those who are dying mentally, emotionally and spiritually, due to unresolved past hurts, wounds, dependencies, and addictive behavior. We believe that God is calling all, and especially women, to a whole new level of honesty and accountability to be healed and overcome those things which keep them bound and blinded to the truth that was meant to set them free.
What Do We Believe?
WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired Word Of God, and the revealed will of God. The final authority for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in right living (2 Tim 3:15-17; Heb. 4:12).
WE BELIEVE in One God, existing eternally in 3 persons, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is the Savior who died for each of us and those who believe in Him for forgiveness of sins will inherit eternal life and receive salvation (John 3:16).
WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, and that He indwells each born again believer, empowering us to grow spiritually and walk in obedience according to the will of our Heavenly Father (Luke 24:49; John 14:26).
About Minnie
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has
anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to
heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." Isaiah 61:1,3
Minnie has firsthand knowledge of the devasting effects that can
linger well into adulthood as a result of being sexually molested as a child. Some of the struggles she had to overcome are a lack of self-worth, identity and purpose. Others include a poor self-image, low self-esteem, depression, feelings of shame, guilt, anger, and fear.
Due to much prayer, love and encouragement from friends, and the
love and support of her husband, she came to understand who she is in Christ and the love her Heavenly father has for her. Because of this she has made great strides in her journey towards wholeness, becoming a victor not a victim. In response to the love, support and encouragement she received, and with a burning desire to help others become victors as well, she has developed this Reaching Out Ministry site.
Minnie is a graduate of Briercrest Bible College in Canada. She holds a degree in Christian Education as well as an Advanced Teaching Diploma. Minnie has been married for 20 years and has three children.
Ministry Goals
To make available to all who seek, a safe supportive and loving enviroment in order for them to confront and deal with personal issues. Toward that end we are committed to establishing various support groups to aid in their recovery and journey towards wholeness.
To minister biblically, partially and effectively to the needs of the individual, to facilitate growth, self-worth and self-esteem, to bring about restoration and the establishment of their identity in Christ and their relationship with God. To accomplish this we mostly refer individuals to sites offering specific areas of counseling. We also are available for individual Christian counseling and prayer.
To educate and train individuals who wish to become more informed
about an issue and or be supportive of the person undergoing the
process of healing and or restoration to sexual wholeness, through seminars, educational, and training classes.
