Patrick (with Dad)
 | This is our friend Patrick. He was adopted from Tobolsk,Russia which is in the Tyumen region of Siberia.
Tobolsk is actually a nice town - the hotel was great - they cater to Westerners as they have alot of oil and geothermal organizations out there. They flew into Tyument and drove four hours to Tobolsk. The baby home was so clean and the women there were so loving and generous with what they had - they insisted on sending them away with tons of food for Patrick ("he's our baby too" they said". Patrick had amazing care - considering he had cronic asthma (which has since considerably cleared up). He was brought to the International Adoption Clinic in Boston and examined by the famous Dr. Miller. She couldn't believe that he was from an institution/orphanage because of his social skills and bonding. If you want to contact Jeanne email jcrowley@rens.com |
