Betty Jo Sizemore

Betty Jo Sizemore, 62, of Woodlawn, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at her residence. She was born in Carroll County on May 1, 1939 to Norman Estel and Lizzie Mae Melton Gallimore. Survivors include her husband, Robert Junior Sizemore of Woodlawn; four children and their spouses, Robert Eugene England of New Orleans, La., Harold Dean and Laura England of Dugspur, Kathy Diane and Richard Newman of Fries and Tony Lawrence and Peggy Sizemore of Galax; three sisters, Virginia Darlene Mabe and Alice Ruth Lowe, both of Burlington, N.C., and Margie Colene Hodges of Red Brush, N.C.; five brothers, Billy Ray Gallimore of Thomasville, N.C., Buddy Gallimore of Beulah, N.C., Roy Gallimore of Dobson, N.C., Troy Gallimore of Thomasville, N.C., and June Gallimore of Burlington, N.C.; six grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. A funeral was held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Gladeville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Brian Frazier officiated.
