Surnames from Oren Mortons' Selection

Oren F. Mortons' book A History of Pendleton County West Virginia, published by C.J. Carrier Company.  has a wealth of Virginia and West Virginia pioneer family names.  I realized that the Surname I was looking for was all throughout the book and without an index, locating all the references would be impossible.   So I scanned all the family information into a package that allows text searches to find every instance of my surname. I've included those files here for anyone else who could utilize this information.  If your surname is a prominent family in the Shenandoah area I would strongly suggest purchasing this book. I got my version from Blairs' Book Service.   The history of Pendleton County and the surrounding areas given in this book is fascinating, giving a wonderful picture of the challenge the pioneers of our families endured.
