$ Bruce Norton retired as a major in the United States Marine Corps. He originally served as a USN Hospital Corpsman with the Marines in Vietnam.
Norton was the only corpsman who served as a Marine Recon team leader.
Norton has authored 8 books about Marines and our Corps.
% As a young Marine, Nightingale was one of the 12 survivors when the USS Arizona was attacked in Pearl Harbor.
