The Village of Riegelsville lies on the Delaware River in Durham township
at the extreme northeastern end of Bucks County. It is nine miles
south of Easton, Pa., forty-two miles north of Trenton, NJ and fifty
miles(by trolley or public road) to Philadelphia via Doylestown; as written
in 1911. 
Riegelsville, PA  was originally called Shank's Ferry.
Riegelsville, NJ was orginally called Musconetcong. NJ
