(1771). Deputy to Provincial Convention, Justice and Judge of Elections
(1774. Com. of Safety, Deputy and Member of Colonial Assembly, Captain
of Easton Co, and Colonel of 1st Batt (1775. Lt. Colonel at Battle of
Long Island(1776), County Lieutenant (1780), Judge of Court of Common
Pleas (1787, Mem. 1st Constitutional Convention of Penna, and First
Chief Magistrate of Easton (1789)

birth of Col. Kachlein, 8 Nov. 1722. His father, Johann-Andreas, was
born at Listal, in Switzerland, Feb. 1680, d. at Kirchheim, 23 Sept, 1722
His mother was Anna-Margaretha Hahn of Heppenheim bei Alzey.
The remains of Col. Kachlein, and his two wives will shortly be removed
to the Easton Cemetery
