If you think your life would be enhanced by being adopted by a
Turkish Angora, you are probably right. They are loving, graceful and
extremely beautiful, like Galatia Rosamond(left) an Odd-eyed White.
However, they are also stubborn, demanding and sometimes annoying. One woman, whose Angoras had passed away, gave in to her husband's request for a more placid docile type of cat. I asked how it was going and she said that they were lovely but after living with Turks, kind of boring! One thing for sure, life with a Turkey is not boring. I cant imagine life without them!
All our kitties are raised literally under foot. Each and every one is born into our hands and is kissed and cuddled every day of their life with us.
As we are intensively involved breeders we try not to have
litters overlapping; that way each individual kitten has their fair share
of the attention and training. But accidents happen. This year, for
instance, our little imported Turkish Angora male, had a party with
several females long before he was old enough to do so. The resultant
kittens, although unplanned, are delightful, combining their mothers
beauty with their fathers winning personality!
Several kittens, blacks and whites, are now for sale. :-)
