The Schmidt's Stanchion Barn

Here we have the stanchion barn facing the house, and you can see the profile of the freestall barn just behind and to the right of it.

This is me milking in the stanchion barn. As you can see, it's pretty close quarters and can get pretty uncomfortable in the summertime, for me as well as the cows. I milk in shifts so they don't have to be quite so cramped. We need to do something about ventilation when I remodel.
