The Belleville R/C Flyers field is located in southwestern Illinois approximately half way between Belleville and Mascoutah. It is 1/2 mile south of Illinois routes 177/158 on Rentchler Road. Here's a map:
The flying field now covers approximately 3 acres after having been expanded in the fall of 1995. About two thirds of the field is dedicated to a grass runway. The remainder of the field consists of pilot stations, a pit area, a spectator area, and a parking area. A frequency control board is used to manage the use of radio frequencies. Flying is open to members and their guests. Valid Academy of Model Aeronautics membership is required. Spectators are always welcome!
