Work History and Experience

Courtaulds Fabrics - September 1984 - September 1987.

Began as a quality control technician responsible for checking all fabrics and dyes met with customer orders and requirements. Promoted to Dye house planner, responsible for ensuring that the machines ran effectively to the company plan and in order to meet customer requirements. Ability to plan up to three months ahead in order to most effectively use machine availability against customer orders.

Rolls Royce PLC Aero engine manufacturers - September 1987 - November 1996.

I worked as the Raw Materials Stores Controller, responsible for the movement of stock into and out of the factory. Issue raw material to the shop floor for manufacture into engine components. Keep accurate and up to date records of all stock on site. Update the computer systems with the daily stock movement records. Operate the computer systems, and communicate with management and the shop floor. Investigate and correct any errors occurring through the computer systems, and punch data directly into the computers.

Feline Behaviour

I am presently running a successful and popular web page to provide help for behavioural problems via email. I am also a Regional Organiser for the Feline Advisory Bureau, a British charity dedicated to research into feline health problems, and promoting good healthcare and welfare for cats.

Personal Details

I am a registered breeder of pedigree cats, having bred Ragdolls for four years, I have also studied Feline Behaviour Therapy through a course run by Dr Peter Neville and the Animal Care College at Ascot, England.
I have worked for several years as a volunteer steward at cat shows for both the Federation International Feline (FIFe) and the Independent Feline Alliance, for whom I have also judged, and am used to handling all breeds of cats in the correct manner. I have a love of all animals, having been raised with a variety of household pets including dogs, birds, fish, reptiles and rodents.

I enjoy computing and using the Internet, and am constantly trying to improve my knowledge of the HTML language. I also enjoy reading, music, walking, swimming and horse riding.

I hold a clean British drivers licence, and enjoy driving. I like meeting new people, and have good communicational skills and a pleasant personality.
