Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms (prep time about 20 min.)
2 Portabella Mushrooms1 clove of minced garlic
1 cup seasoned Italian Breadcrumbs (Pepperidge farm Caesar Salad croutons work well)
½ stick melted butter
- Pre-heat oven to 350
- Clean mushrooms lightly with a damp cloth
- Crush 1 clove of garlic w/ blade of knife, peel, Finely mince
- Melt butter in a medium size bowl and brush mushrooms w/ half
- Place minced garlic on mushrooms
- Stir remaining butter into bread crumbs and put aside
- Place buttered mushrooms in oven for 5 minutes
- Remove and coat with breadcrumb mixture
- Put in oven on broil until golden brown
