Downtown Pensacola

Quayside Market Then it was time for more old haunts of mine. First it was downtown to see the Quayside Market (which I would swear used to be called the Quayside Thieve's Market, but it has been eight years, after all). I hyperventilate just thinking about the imported lace and gorgeous things that I will never be able to afford. Boy boy did I enjoy dreaming about it! Darn good thing they were closed when I went by or we never could have afforded the trip back home.
World famous bar Trader Jon's, which I'm sure saw much more business when the USS Lexington was parked just down the street from it. Trader Jon's bar

Speaking of just down the street, we had to go mourn the loss of the ship
even though I've seen it recently in mothballs in Corpus Christi, TX... it just isn't the same.
But the thing that brought back the most memories was taking a drive by the house where I used to live. I expected to see my mother strolling out at any second. My old house!
