National Air and Space Museum

Our trip to Pensacola just could not be complete without revisiting the exact spot where John and I had met, nearly eight years earlier to the day. Unfortunately, they'd removed that section, but we got as close as we could and showed Katy all around, explaining all about that fateful June day when John walked into my life. Here's Katy in the flight simulator where I first spotted John about 5 minutes before he walked over to my section. :-) John and Katy in flight simulator

There had also been some neat additions to the museum, such as an entire mock town from the World War II era. You could walk into most of the buildings and feel like you were right there. There was even a radio playing in one of the homes with '40's broadcasts going. It was very surreal. Here's Katy and I in front of the back door of the '40's style home.Katy and I in front of '40's kitchen door
