As a 9 year old, watching my mother nurse my newest sibling and seeing that look of adoration in the eyes of my sweet baby sister, I knew I would nurse my children. The mother I am today was greatly influenced by the wonderful mothers I met attending
La Leche League meetings and, also by the many books I read from our local LLL group's personal library. I am a firm believer in attachment parenting, homebirthing, extended nursing, the family bed, non-circumcision, and taking children seriously. We are also homeschooling with an emphasis on child-led learning aka unschooling.
