TM 4's Pictures
TMurphy
4
(and now there are four of us!)
TMM * TLM * TRM * TARM
Here are some more pictures of us. Some are from our trip to Monterey
Bay, CA. The rest are pictures of our "real life"--dogs, house, cooking, van .
. .

On Vacation
Here are my three men right after a shower. Tom and
Thomas' hair usually looks better, but Timothy's seems to have chosen the
"sideways mohawk" permanently. The cheesy paneling is part of the deluxe motel
accommodations (Tom says it's 1/4" plywood--and nothing else--I'm happy we're
not visiting in the winter).
At the Beach
Here are Thomas, my sister Mandy, and I at a beach in
Asilomar. The sand was white and wide at this point. We're looking for
otters. We saw at least three from this vantage point. Then we went searching
in the tide pools. Thomas saw snails, hermit crabs, anemones and tons of
kelp. The kelp is dying because El Nino is warming the water so much.
Family portrait with Sandy
Sandy is the humpback whale at the Pacific
Grove Natural History Museum. We're all squinting in the sun and sad to be
headed home.
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' Watch that baby Rollin'
Timothy is on the move
and now rolls from back to tummy and back again. He's holding his head up well
and Sept 20th he pushed up on tummy and toes and tried to "crawl". I think
he's on the fast track like his big brother, who walked at 9 months.
Souffle
Here I am, nursing Timothy, sitting down to dinner of my first
cheese souffle. I'd never made one before and it came off very well. The
three of us gobbled it up and I'm sure I'll be making more.
Our House and Van
Here's where Timothy was born. If you look
carefully at the house, you'll see the front window was the door to the hayloft
back before 1930 (or so) when the carriage house became a residence. The van,
however, is very new and fits the four of us quite well.
Sit!
Ummmmm. When you give the sit command at our house you get a big
reply. S'more (the red greyhound), Goblin (the fawn Italian Greyhound) and
Thomas (the little boy ;-) all plop their butts down and wait for a treat. We
really didn't teach Thomas to do this, but it was a great trick when we lived
in an apartment and had to dry feet when we came in from a wet walk.
