Our first road trip and other spring-time pursuits . . .

After a January try to go on vacation (thwarted by Tracy's work), we were finally on our way the end of March. We left our house and headed North. Along the way we stopped in Medford, OR; Portland, OR; Anacortes, WA; Port Orchard, WA; and back to Anacortes, then Portland and Medford. It was a long, great trip!

Before Trip--In the front yard Here are my two favorite boys in our front yard. It was one of the few sunny, beautiful days until the end of April!

	Two More T Pictures! Here's Thomas on one of his favorite outings--to the Cal (University of California, Berkeley) campus. He and Tom go tramping around there every few weeks. This is on one of the bridges over Strawberry Creek. And here's Timothy wearing my wooly hat.
On the Ferry We experienced a number of ferries around Puget Sound. This one is from Whidbey Island to Port Townsend. We also took the foot ferry from Port Orchard to Bremerton and one of the big ferries from Port Orchard to Seattle. Thomas loved them!

Port Townsend Here are all three of my guys in front of a beautiful timberframed structure on the wharf in Port Townsend. Tracy spotted it from the ferry and we drove over to check it out. There's not a nail in structure (well, maybe some in the roofing). Fabulous! And a very cute picture of Timothy and Tracy next to the structure.

Boys in the Tub As all good parents do, we captured a great blackmail moment to be shared with a prospective girlfriend many years hence.
Timothy and Buddy We stopped in Oregon at the farm where S'more was born and raised. His family was wonderful, gave us a tour of the training facilities, let us pet all the dogs and then we all sat down to cup of coffee. One of their pups was on special R&R and spend a bit of time with Timothy on the couch.
